Suburban Woman’s Awesome New Website

The Suburban Woman magazine needed an awesome website to complement their great quarterly magazine. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to build it for them.

Among the requirements was it had to be designed using the same ‘shades of purple’ color palette as the print magazine. We added flash “flipping pages” so visitors could read the current and recent issues as if they were reading the printed version. A WordPress blog, web poll and rotating ads in the header and sidebar rounded out the requirements.

We later we added a portal where visitors could view and download coupons directly from the website.

Using a custom Content Management System (CMS) and WordPress the client regularly updates articles, recipes, coupons, blog posts and more. I love this website and the folks at Suburban Woman are great to work with.
