Does the monthly time rollover?

Similar to a lawyer’s retainer, the monthly time is there to reserve your place in our queue as well as our resources. Consequently, it does not rollover. You can take comfort in the fact that what you request within that 30/120 minutes of time (depending on your plan) will be addressed with immediate attention.

What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc?

The whole purpose of our Care Plans is preventative care, so we do our best to prevent anything bad from happening. If we cause the site to go down during an update or backup, we’ll immediately roll back to the backup taken before performing the update. 

The majority of issues are addressed free of cost, however, custom plugins, issues introduced by users, or especially time-consuming issues may be billable.

What tasks are included in the dedicated support time?

Requests to update content and small design improvements are the most common requests. However, we’ll do anything that can fit into your monthly support time. Please be aware that requests for new features to your website may result in a formal quote since those commonly go over the monthly dedicated time.

How do consulting calls work?

We’re able to provide the fastest response via email. If we need to do some brainstorming, that usually works best on the phone or via screen-share. Consulting calls are reserved for our Premium and Professional Care Plan clients. They help to clarify a strategy towards growth and improvements. Oftentimes, clients choose to use this time for a screen-sharing session dedicated to small updates or training.

What if I need more hours?

If you have a task that requires more than your dedicated monthly time, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan. Care Plan clients are charged at our discounted rate of $85/hr.

Can I really cancel anytime?

Absolutely. A long-term relationship with our clients and their websites is what we’re all about. Consequently, we’d hate to see you go but we know financial circumstances must always be considered so we never lock anyone in. Request a cancellation via email to support@thewebsweweave.com, and we will immediately stop the next payment.

My website was built by someone else than The Webs We Weave. Can I still be on a Care Plan?

Absolutely! We welcome clients who are looking for a long-term relationship with a dedicated webmaster, regardless of who built the website. Before making any commitments, we will first evaluate your website to see how it was built and look for any issues that may cause problems down the road. We will make a list of issues to fix and improvements required to proceed with a monthly plan.

What information will you need from me?

We’ll need an administrator account in WordPress and access to your server, usually through cPanel or via your hosting account so we can get everything set up and take care of any issues that arise. Other than that we just collect standard billing information and an Email address for notifications.

Of course, if we are hosting your website, we already have everything we need.

Does it matter who hosts my site?

A high-quality business-class web host can make all the difference in your website’s performance and may even improve your search engine rankings. If you’re happy with your current host then there is a good chance that everything will be fine.
